This post is in response to a post that was later deleted when consolidating the forum users with the Mordor player base.

It's an art form...

No worries though, major Mordor projects are never done drunk. :D

Now, the smaller changes.... for those of you who were around during the (beginning of ?) summer, you may recall a time when we had about 30-35 changes come in at once. There was also another 20 or so that were behind the scenes (either optimizations of algorithms, immortal commands, etc.). About 70% of them were done in 3 consecutive nights when I realized I needed to do something to stay awake until I sobered up, before I could go to bed. 3 nights of falling asleep around 6am, on the keyboard, wondering how in the world so many things got done. (Even more amazing that there was only 1 bug in over 40 committed revisions written in the state of the Ballmer Peak...)

xkcd is right. I too have noticed superhuman coding ability once, while under the effects of alcohol. I wrote a thousand-lines web application overnight. By 10 AM I was polishing and delivering it.
